Private Public Gallery in Hudson, New York will present Here, Elsewhere, Kylie Heidenheimer’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. On view from November 29, 2025 to January 11, 2026, the show will comprise large and medium-sized canvases. The exhibition is an unveiling of Heidenheimer’s recent narrative abstract paintings. Akin to Martha Diamond using identifiable imagery to express the richness of paint, Heidenheimer utilizes marks and pours to express immediacy and the out-of-reach. Nature and the urban are at most, suggestions. There are senses of hovering, covering and revealing in the works. Via these means, Heidenheimer displaces and realigns the certain and unknown.

Kylie Heidenheimer (b. Gainesville, FL) earned a BFA from Washington University, St. Louis, MO and an MFA from Hunter College, New York, NY. She has exhibited at 56 Henry, New York, NY; O’Flaherty’s, New York, NY; Waterhouse & Dodd Gallery, New York, NY; Zürcher Gallery, New York, NY; Private Public Gallery, Hudson, NY; 532 Gallery Thomas Jaeckel, New York, NY; Furnace Art on Paper, Falls Village, CT; Ohio Northern University, Ada, OH; The Italian Academy at Columbia University, New York, NY; Galerie Gris, Hudson, NY; J.C.
